This was to be her home for the next year. She had chosen to study Arts and was rather surprised they had accepted her application as she wasn't naturally very gifted in this area.
However her family was rich and influential and she herself was a minor celebrity and so she assumed this was why she had been accepted.
In any case she hadn't come her to excel but to escape her destiny. She was hiding from her fate to lead her family and distinguish herself in some capacity.
Laughing Bear had started it all. Thrown forward through time into a place he didn't belong.
He had worked hard at fishing to provide for his family.
He had married Little Feet, the lady that had been brought through time with him.
Together they had built a home and had a family.
His eldest boy Albin had taken over as head of the family when he reached 18, he had decided on the Police Force as a career.
He had worked his way to the top and Lizzie knew from her father he had ended up as an international Super Spy, protecting his country.
Albin eldest boy was Merlin.
Merlin had chosen to be a firefigther when he grew up.
He had saved half a dozen sim's lives and also was involved in preventing a big explosion in the their neighbourhood.
Merlin's oldest boy had been Owen (Lizzie's father).
Owen had chosen politics to make his mark and had ended up being Mayor over the city. Even now people still talked off all that he had achieved in office and he was the most popular politician they had ever had.
Was it any wonder with such high flying ancestors and the added pressure of being the first female leader that she had chosen to hide at University for a few years before she had to make her own mark. Hopefully when her course ended she have figured out her path forward.
That does sound like a lot of pressure. Certainly as lot to live up to.

ReplyDeleteTo say she wasn’t gifted in art is an understatement. Love her pic through, very monster munch. Oh Lizzie hiding from your fate is no good. You can’t run away for ever. Hopefully uni will give her time to accept her fate and rise to the challenge it presents her. I expect it is intimidating having Laughing Bear as her ancestor then Albin, Merlin and her father Owen. Was good seeing pics of them all.
I miss Merlin’s hairy arms. Is that him saving my darling Jasmine? Owen has always had a snappy dress sense. Good seeing a pic of him in his younger days.
