As District Superintendent she only worked a three days a week for quite a comfortable sum and she decided this gave her the balance of work and home that she wanted.
She had taken up painting more seriously and was starting to produce some lovely pieces of work.
Henry was still pining after Ruth even though she had married Will River her childhood sweetheart.
Henry was all ready to give up and admit defeat when he started hearing that the newlyweds were not happy and were often seen out arguing.
Henry was there for Ruth as a friendly ear and although he knew it was wrong to come between Ruth and her husband he couldn't help but hope she might realise how much better he would be for her.
However when Ruth announced she was pregnant, Henry finally admitted to himself it was no good.
He was now looking forward to going to University and hopefully meeting someone there or at the very least having a new occupation to take him mind off Ruth.
Lizzie had begun dating and had gone out on a few dates with Gilderoy. It had made Owen feel very old to have his daughter picked up and taken out by a young man.
Unlike her brother though Lizzie wasn't serious. She was enjoying her time with Gilderoy but was very much looking forward to going to University next year. Lizzie and Gilderoy decided with University looming it was better to end it now and promised to always stay good friends.
Lizzie had become something of a minor local celebrity. She had befriended both Aisha and Natalie Westgate and had got some jobs at the local film studio.
Owen's sister Naomi had had a uneventful pregnancy.
Little Willow was now toddling around and had her mother's colouring.
Before long the twins were turning eighteen.
Henry graduated with honours and top of the class, his class mates voted him most likely to hack the military facility because of his exceptional computer skills, whilst Lizzie was voted most likely to save the world.
In a few months the twins would be off to University and a whole new life.
