Owen found the house much quieter now there was just the four or them.

The funeral had been held and Merlin had been buried in the garden as was the River family way.

Owen had been very excited to meet Natalie and Benedict and to have celebrities move into town,

but it was Aisha who really got on with them. Aisha and Natalie were about the same age and liked each other right from the start.

Owen's twins were now at school.

Aisha gave birth to a little boy and they named him Hasani, meaning handsome.

Merlin was married for the second time in a simple ceremony conducted in the back garden and in the presence of his extended family.

Merlin returned home from Egypt and did his best to return to his old life.

But things felt flat and in his dreams every night he was back in Egypt with Aisha by his side.
