Chapter 107 - Growing Up

Time was passing swiftly for the River family and Lizzie had entered her teen years and with it her rebellious tendencies had increased.

Owen felt that she was going to be a handful. 
Her brother Henry, in comparison was a quiet, hard working lad.

Owen had finally decided to retire from politics. On his leaving the local paper did an article on all the good he had done in office and Owen became something of a minor celebrity. 

He wasn't the only one going grey, his brother Dominic was also showing his age.

Aisha and Newton Baggett had now tied the knot. 

They had moved into a bigger house with Aisha's little boy Hasani.

Owen wished them all the happiness in the world.

With retirement he had decided to take his family away to France to spend some quality time together.

They has gone fishing,

and biking and Owen had felt it had really benefited them as a family. He was determined now to spend more and more time with Lizzie to try and understand her before the duty of the River family fell on her shoulders.
