He had known Hermoine since she was a girl, he had played with her seeing her as a little sister and she was the daughter of his good friend Einstein. Maybe this was why he hadn't realised that he was falling for her.
But Hermoine was no longer a little girl. She had grown into a woman and their friendship had continued.
It had been on Dominic's latest promotion that Dominic and Hermoine had gone out for a drink to celebrate.

It had been on Dominic's latest promotion that Dominic and Hermoine had gone out for a drink to celebrate.
One drink had led to another. There had been some drunken dancing as far as Dominic could remember.
But then along came closing time and they were having too much fun to stop so they went to Hermoine's house.
But then along came closing time and they were having too much fun to stop so they went to Hermoine's house.
There they had watched a film and drank some more. Dominic couldn't remember how it had happened, who had made the first move. But all of a sudden they had been kissing.
Dominic had awoken the next morning in bed with Hermoine and with the realisation that this wasn't just a drunken night to him, but that he was actually in love with her. It had been coming on so gradually he hadn't realised.
Dominic had panicked and creeped out of the house before she awoke. He felt that Hermoine, young and care free had probably just wanted a night of fun and that anyway he was far too old for her. The best thing he could do now was provide some distance between them.
It was easier said than done as he found he missed her terribly, but he just kept making excuses that he was too busy with work to hang out with her. He also distanced himself from Einstein, feeling shame and guilt every time he saw him. He had been happy with his life and in his singleness, but now he felt the hole Hermoine had left. He tried dating a few women but then all he did was compare them with her. He hoped that time would heal and that one day he would be able to enjoy Hermoine's friendship without wanting more and might even be happy to see her settling down with a man more her own age.
I love the fact his chest hair is trying to escape from his top. I can't work out from the picture if he has the dirty arms that Merlin used to have. I know it was meant to be hair but it looked like Merlin needed to have a good wash of them.
ReplyDeleteHermoine is sooo pretty fingers crossed she is nothing like Marie Curie and they can get married and have lots of babies. With Dom's beautiful blue eyes and with her lovely ginger hair no doubt the babies will be very cute. He hardly has the best past women experience so let’s hope this works out.
Poor Hermoine what must she think when she finds him gone and that he is avoiding her. Owen needs to sort Dom out. As head of the family he will need to take his brother in hand and give him a talking to.
Out of interest what are they watching on tv. It looks like someone is doing tricks or something at a wedding…..
xxxxxxx
They are a hairy family and very scary when Hermione got out of bed hers were the hairiest legs of all, they looked just like Danny's, hehe. It was funny if rather disturbing.
DeleteShe is very pretty, just like her grandmother Melody.
TV was a romance channel, I think its kids dancing at a wedding. They know how to party eh?
Her legs were as bad as Dannys, not sure he will be pleased to read that through it made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteShe is sooo pretty.
That was a kid. Oh I thought maybe it was a drunken uncle…..what a kid dancing at a wedding has to do with a romance channel through I’m not sure……….I get that a wedding would be on a romance channel through just not a dancing kid……
xxxxxxxxxx
