Chapter 33 - Babies and more babies

Albin found that his plan of building his brother and sister's house's near his, meant that he did get to see them quite often. They would play silly games together and relive their childhood.

Family was important to Albin, he had been schooled by his dad on the importance of the tribe.
Things with Kainda seem to have settled down and she and Dean had been appearing at parties together. Little Lois Lutz was growing into a toddler and had a strong look of her mother.

Albins own children were growing fast. Evelyn had now entered the teen years,

whilst Merlin had just started school.

Lance, Evelyns imaginary friend was now a young man, still with the green hair which had caused so much comment when he first started school.

Albin's brother Kwasi was soon to be a father, the couple announced the news a few months after the wedding and everyone was thrilled.

At work Albin was now a secret agent and enjoying his new work. He also was best friends with his partner Danny.

Charli had been getting to know Danny's wife and young family and often invited them over. Life was good for River family as a whole.

In his spare time Albin still dabbled in home repairs and when one day the dishwasher stopped working he jumped in screwdriver in hand.

He had left the power on and before he knew what was happening the power was coursing through his body, lifting him off the floor.

When Albin collapsed down onto the ground, limp and unmoving and the whole family feared the worst. 

But when the paramedics came they were able to restart Albin's heart and after a week in hospital he was able to come home again.

It seemed fortune had favoured the River family once more. Only Charli knew that all wasn't well. She had been having fainting fits and generally was not feeling well.

With Albin being so ill she had tried to ignore it, but with him comfortable at home once more she decided it was time to make a doctors appointment.
