Chapter 19 - New beginnings

Kainda had been surprised just how difficult it was to pull yourself up into a saddle, especially wearing a skirt.

It  also made riding harder to, her long dress just seem to hang badly and get in the way. She had persevered for a few days before she realised it wouldn't do.

Kainda had a chat with Albin and he agreed that she needed a jockey outfit that she could wear whilst on the horses.

That organised she worked hard practising, her sights set on entering a beginner race when she was ready. As well as looking after Patches she was developing her friendship with Peaches.

Peaches wasn't a particularly friendly horse and so it would take more effort to turn her into a racing horse, but Kainda was committed. Patches was also pregnant with another foal. Kainda might not have a full time job but she knew that her time would be amply filled.

Albin had been taking time to get to know Charli and his dates had been successes. Charli seemed smitten with him and he doted on her.

After a few months Albin decided the time had come and popped the question to a surprised but delighted Charli who said yes.

Kwasi was still suffering from his betrayal. He missed Claire and couldn't get what she had done out of his mind. He wanted his revenge more than anything now. He found himself flirting with Rosalyn at a party  He half toyed with the idea of dating her just to get back at Claire but decided against it. He didn't have any feelings for Rosalyn and she had been nothing but kind to him.

Albin really hoped Kwasi might soon be able to turn his back on the past and look to his future. Kwasi had been so gloomy and quiet that the whole family had noticed. Now with Albin's approaching wedding everyone was needed to help prepare and Albin asked Kwasi to be his best man. Soon there would be an addition to their family and Laughing Bear and Little Feet then hoped grandchildren would follow.

  1. I love Kainda's eyes in the first two pics, so funny. Poor her having trouble riding. Its good she has got a more appropriate outfit for horse riding however I'm not sure white is really the best colour seeing as people usually go riding in fields which are renowned for having mud. As she has to do the washing she isn’t doing herself any favours there.

I'm so glad Albin is getting married. I'm sure they will have a lovely wedding.

Poor Kwasi still heart broken. Let’s hope he finds a lovely lady to mend his broken heart. I'm glad he wasn't cruel to his poor friend Rosalyn. You need all the friends you can get when you’re feeling low.

    xxxxxxxxxx

    1. Horses are very high when you are on them I remember that, so she is right to look scared I think.

Happily Sims world has no mud, so white should be fine!

Kwasi and Claire were very sweet together, sad that she strayed.
