Chapter 22 - House Renovations

When Albin married Charli she handed over her money with the understanding that they would use it to make improvements to the house. Albin's family were used to sleeping all in one room, but Charli wanted the place to be more like a conventional home with separate rooms.

The young couple made plans and employed some builders and in six months the place looked very different.

They now had a kitchen.

A dining room.

A sitting room.

Their own bedroom.

They also made a room for visitors, big enough to hold parties, which showcased family medals and prom pictures.

The house now had a real medieval air and Charli was pleased with the improvements. Now all they needed was a nursery.

  1. Excellent! I'm sure they're all glad to have a bit of space to themselves
