Chapter 37 - Back in time

Albin looked around trying to work out where he was. He felt dazed and his head felt heavy.

He thought he had been on his way to work, but here he was standing at the side of the road.

Chapter 36- Third time's a charm

Charli had given birth to both Evelyn and Merlin at home, but complications mean't that she had to go to hospital for her third child.

But finally little Gwen was born.

Chapter 35 - Being Brave

Lance peered round the door at Albin, his heart hammering in his chest.

He had never been so scared, he felt as if his whole future life would depend on the next few minutes. He tried to remember what he and Evelyn had talked about, but there seemed to be static in his head and he couldn't think.

Chapter 34 - Young Love

Charli was surprised, but happy to find out that she was expecting again.

Her pregnancy gave her the chance to get to know her new sister in law Melody. They spent time together sharing their experiences and Charli found a new friend.

Chapter 33 - Babies and more babies

Albin found that his plan of building his brother and sister's house's near his, meant that he did get to see them quite often. They would play silly games together and relive their childhood.

Family was important to Albin, he had been schooled by his dad on the importance of the tribe.

Chapter 32 - Kwasi gets married

Kwasi's birthday brought home to him how much older he had become. He was now in his mid thirties and it was time to start a family of his own.

Kwasi had thought long and hard and felt that Melody was the woman he wanted to spend his life with.

Chapter 31 - A Real Live Boy

When Sefu River was born to Laughing Bear and Little Feet he gained a toy.

Little Feet had asked around and had been unable to find out where it had come from. Sefu loved his toy and would spend hours talking to and cuddling it.

Chapter 30 - Mid Life Crisis

Albin had worked at the Police Department since he left school and had seen many bosses and partners come and go.

On Albin's first day there had been his partner Hal, who had then mysteriously retired over night.

Chapter 29 - New Friends

Kainda and Dean had moved to their modest house just across the road from the River family.

Albin was glad that Kainda was so close.

Chapter 28 - Kainda's new life

Once again the family were brought together in tragedy and another gravestone was added to the family cemetery.

Chapter 27 - Be mine

Albin and Charli were both proud of their new little man and named him Merlin.

To Albin his life was complete, he now had his heir. Merlin would carry on the family name and inherit the house. Albin was already looking far into the future to when his son would be grown up. He would pass over responsibility for the house once Merlin reached adulthood, just has his own father had done. Albin felt life had been very kind to him.

Chapter 26 - Looking for Love

Albin and Charli were excited at the news that they were expecting another baby.

Albin's whole family rejoiced with him, but his happy family life made his siblings wonder if they were missing something in their own lives.

Chapter 25 - Onwards and upwards

Albin looked proudly at his new car. He had now made lieutenant at work and with the rank came his own squad car.

True it looked slightly out of place in this medieval setting. He wouldn't have bought himself a  car for that reason. The squad car however was a testament to his hard work and success and he would drive it proudly to work every morning.

Chapter 24 - Life Continues

Albin watched his mother carefully after his father died, worried that she would soon follow him, but although she was obviously very sad to lose her husband there was no sudden decline in her health.

The family created a little cemetery on their grounds with the graves of Sefu and Laughing Bear and said their farewells to the brave man who had faced a new scary world and succeeded so well.

Chapter 23 - Hello and Goodbye

It wasn't long before Albin and Charli were able to tell everyone they were expecting their first child. Charli was excited to be expecting their first baby, but found that she got terrible back ache that Albin was happy to massage away.

Over the months as Charli got bigger she went back to modern clothes and wore relaxing trousers and a stretchy top, she just couldn't garden or move easily in her medieval clothes.

Chapter 22 - House Renovations

When Albin married Charli she handed over her money with the understanding that they would use it to make improvements to the house. Albin's family were used to sleeping all in one room, but Charli wanted the place to be more like a conventional home with separate rooms.

The young couple made plans and employed some builders and in six months the place looked very different.

Chapter 21 - Goodbye

Sefu had come home from school very excited one day as the school were running a school trip abroad. Sefu longed to see far off places and couldn't wait to go.

Laughing Bear was quite worried to let Sefu go that far from home, never having travelled that far himself, but Albin was now the head of the family and he agreed the scheme.

Chapter 20 - A Wedding

The big day finally approached and Albin had thought long and hard about his outfit and had managed to keep it a secret from Charli.

Kwasi and Laughing Bear were to be wearing similar outfits as Father of the Groom and Best Man.

Chapter 19 - New beginnings

Kainda had been surprised just how difficult it was to pull yourself up into a saddle, especially wearing a skirt.

It  also made riding harder to, her long dress just seem to hang badly and get in the way. She had persevered for a few days before she realised it wouldn't do.

Chapter 18 - Heartache

Albin's job was going really well and he had already had one promotion. He was getting on well with Anita and they had become firm friends. Anita had decided to adopt a new hair style which Albin thought suited her much better.

Albin found Anita made him laugh and he liked her company and yet felt no spark. He didn't think she was the future wife he was searching for.

Chapter 17 - Three go to the Prom

It was prom time again in the River household and this time Kwasi, Kainda and Sefu were all old enough to go. They all spent time choosing their killer outfits. Albin was happy  to let them all dress modern for the special occasion.

Kwasi had asked Claire Beech if she would be his date and she had said that would love to go with him but that if he stood her up she would throw a bag of poo at him (classy).

Chapter 16 - Albin's new life

Albin had taken to heart the serious talk he had had with his father and after some careful thought had decided that their family would enter the medieval era. He felt that their distinctiveness shouldn't be lost and yet they should move forward.

Albin fancied himself as a knight and used the money they had to build a castle for the family to live in.

Chapter 15 Generation two rules

Now Albin has grown into an adult, we switch to generation two rules.

Here are the family dressed for the medieval era.

Chapter 14 - Generation One Summary

Generation one is now over as Albin reaches manhood. It began with Laughing Bear and Little feet and an empty plot of land.

At the end of generation one here is the summary of the sims and the score so far.

Chapter 13 - The New Order

Laughing bear gazed across his land. He felt that he had achieved a lot in his time here. It seemed like only yesterday himself and Little feet had been stranded in this foreign place. They had made a life for themselves and had four amazing kids.

Now he was getting older and he felt it was time to look to the new generation. He needed to talk seriously and privately with Albin, so he took him to the fishing spot he went every day.

Chapter 12 - Albin's unlucky in love

Albin had found himself in a relationship with Rosalyn after the prom and had decided to go along with it. For a few months all had been going well. Rosalyn was quite good fun and he enjoyed spending time with her.

As time went on Albin realised that he enjoyed Rosalyn's company as a friend and wasn't attracted to her.

Chapter 11 - Party with a difference

Albin settled into life as Rosalyn's boyfriend. He often went to hers after school and worked on his homework.

Chapter 10 - Albin's Prom

Albin had been a quiet child and had not made many friends at school, although he had invited some of the local children over to his birthday parties and one of these was Rosalyn Houle.

Chapter 9 - Patches

Albin still found that Patches took his breath away.

Chapter 8 - Time flies

As is always the way when you wish that time would slow down it speeds up. Little Feet watched as her babies seem to shoot up overnight. Albin once her little man was now nearly fully grown. 

Chapter 7 - Growing up

Time was passing swiftly now and all three kids seemed to have shot up over night. Albin was at school and seemed ever so grown up to his father.

Chapter 6 - Generation two is born

Not long after the wedding they found they were expecting an addition to their family and were happy to welcome a son. They named him Albin.

Chapter 5 - Will you?

Laughing Bear worked even harder than before now with a goal in sight. He needed to make enough money to buy a ring for Little feet. 

Chapter 4 - Thinking seriously

The garden was thriving under Little feets careful care.

Chapter 3 - Settling in

Little Feet gazed across at Laughing Bear who had been out fishing since sunrise. The last few months seemed like a dream.

First they had awoken to find that they were no longer with their tribe, but in a foreign place. Little Feet hadn't even known Laughing Bear as he was from a different tribe. They had awoken in an alien world full of noise and busyness and confusion. Admittedly, no animals had tried to eat them and they lived in safety that she had never thought was possible.

Chapter 2 - Generation One

Generation one is the prehistoric era and begins with you designing your own caveman and cavewoman. I named mine Laughingbear River and Littlefeet Leaf.

I found a good cheat that let me unlock the outfits the outfits above that came with Sims 3 Ambitions.

Chapter 1 - Setting the scene

I have decided to write a new Sims 3 story using 'through history legacy challenge' (http://www.modthesims.info/showthread.php?t=453791). Full details can be found at this post, but to summarise:

The challenge follows a family of Sims through seven generations. Starting with a caveman and cavewoman and working forward through different time periods until we reach the present day. Each time period has certain restrictions and ways to accrue points as well as a theme. Next post, meet my starting couple
